The June 2025 release of Lineardraft sees the addition of a new feature, and several changes which further improve the UI and software responsiveness. Watch the 90-second update vlog below for a quick summary.
The June 2025 version of Lineardraft now gives you the ability to override the wire length displayed in wire box annotations and JSON data. This is useful if you are working on a model that does not contain a complete wire run.
Structure lists have been updated so they now show which structures are hidden in your model using a new symbol.
The 'Move to co-ordinates' tab has been redesigned to make the UI clearer, now only showing delta values by default, with the ability to view your imported co-ordinates at the click of a button. There are also a number of other minor UI tweaks which make the controls more economical in their use of space whilst remaining clear and intuitive.
Finally, 'Locate...' commands load more quickly. When selecting the 'Place Structure', 'Edit Structure', 'Delete Structure', 'Edit Wire', or 'Delete Wire' buttons, the locate command is actually active before the window itself appears, allowing you to select items faster than ever before.
As always, full release notes are available via our Helpcentre, as are how-to and explainer articles on all the functions mentioned in this post.
